Eucharistic Adoration

Location: St. Joseph the Work Chapel

To begin Lent (the time of preparation before Easter), the Spiritual Council would like to invite you to participate in an all night Eucharistic Adoration vigil beginning this Sunday, February 22, after Mass. It will conclude at 8:30am on Monday, February 23, with Benediction, a short prayer service of no more than 15 minutes.

Eucharistic Adoration is a devotion in which Our Lord is present before us - Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity - in the form of the consecrated host that we see at Mass. This is a time of prayer, to ask God for whatever we may need, what our friends and families need, or simply to praise Him and wonder at His Presence with us. Everyone is invited to come and spend however much or little time as you would like.

However, to be able to have this vigil, we must have people sign up for half hour slots during the night. You can find the signup hereThe vigil cannot take place unless all slots are filled. You must stay for the entire half hour because Our Lord cannot be left alone.

It would be a fantastic Lenten sacrifice to pick a slot and pray. If you spend some time with Jesus, he will help you with your homework!

Thanks for signing up!
